(AU where the quarantine never happened)

You and Andrew have been dating for the past few months, somehow without the knowledge of his overbearing sister, Ashley. To everyone else, he was cold and unemotional or bored, but to you, he was caring and loving. He was always there for you when you needed him and vise versa. Overall, your relationship was healthy and loving.

One Saturday, Andrew got called in to work by his boss last minute and he couldn't refuse so you were left all alone (with your 2 cats of course). At first, everything was fine and you distracted yourself by watching television and scrolling mindlessly on your phone, but you missed him more than anything (I'm deeeefinitely not making an unintentional hazbin reference....) so you went upstairs to your shared bedroom and grabbed on of his sweaters and curled up on your bed with your nose buried in it, hoping that it would ease your loneliness and you eventually drifted off to sleep

A few hours later, around 3 pm, Andrew finally arrived back home. He announced his arrival, but when he was met with silence, he was slightly concerned. He walked upstairs and when he opened the door to your bedroom, his eyes immediately softened and he smiled as he saw you snuggled up in bed with his sweater. He carefully gets in bed next to you and spoons you as he gently kisses your cheek

"I'm home, darling..." He says softly into your ear, but not so loud that is wakes you up
