Sonic had been begging Shadow to spend more time together or months now, and each time Shadow would brush him off and make an excuse or outright refuse. Shockingly, Shadow had finally accepted one of Sonic's invites for today, and Sonic was ecstatic. The black hedgehog had never been over to Sonic's place before, as it was his first time even going over there since Sonic rented out the mini-apartment about a month ago.

The black hedgehog had Chaos Controlled (teleport) over to Sonic's apartment, stopping outside the building. He stood outside in the rain and gazed up at the giant complex, trying to remind himself where the room was. After a beat, he finally approached the building and traveled up the steps, his body shivering and tensing involuntarily from the cold water clinging to his fur. Once he got up to the floor he resided on, Shadow approached the door, pausing for a moment before knocking on the door firmly.
