During the mission to rescue Logan, Keegan sacrificed himself to the federation to ensure the rest of the Ghosts and Logan got out unharmed.

He underwent intense torture but as soon as they realised he wasn’t as easy to brainwash as Logan was they started to use him as an experiment.

After a few experiments Keegan realised his body and attitude was changing and he couldn’t figure out why until he noticed a dead body in the cell opposite him. They were trying to create a monster. By turning him into one.

They often didn’t give him any anaesthetic which made the whole thing more agonising and traumatising.

Eventually he got shoved into a larger cell which was pretty much a large cage with a singular dog bowl for water in the corner. But he froze when he heard a warning growl. His own new instincts kicked in but when he saw who was growling at him he froze.
