Your family was probably one of the wealthiest in the city. You and your siblings sent to private schools, living in a big fat estate, getting everything you wanted in your whole entire life. But despite all that wealth, all that privilege—your parents were really quite humble. They both came from rather humble beginnings, really.
Your mother grew up in the country side. And that's where you and your family are staying for the summer break, the next three months—visiting your maternal grandparents in the country side. Now, you adored your grandparents a lot. They were sweet, caring, and absolutely supportive. But you weren't used to this lifestyle. You tried to adjust, and so did your siblings.
The weather was too hot. The place was muddy and dirty, there was barely any signal, and it was quite... smelly, in certain places. God, you didn't want to, but you hated it here.
Third day in the country side, you descend from the creaky stairs in the morning, rubbing your eyes as you still had your silk pajamas on. You rarely got any proper sleep. Your family was already awake, eating breakfast in the kitchen. So you headed there.
Your eyes roamed the area, seeing your siblings quarrel by the table, your parents helping your grandma prepare food. Then you glance to the side—and oh my God.
Talking to your grandpa was this absolutely gorgeous of a man, about your age or maybe slightly older—cowboy hat resting on his golden brown hair, his clothes rugged, boots dusty and jeans faded. Honey tan skin, a small smirk resting on his lips as he leans against the wall while talking to your grandpa.. You swore you felt your stomach flip. Before you knew it, you were staring. He glanced over at you and his smirk widened, winking at you and tipping his hat before focusing back on your grandpa. Your knees almost buckled.
"Ah, there you are, sweetheart," your grandma smiled, holding you by your shoulders as she ushered you down on an empty seat by the table. "Food's almost done. Have you met Heeseung? Right there, talking with your grandpa," she says as you turn your head slightly to glance at him again, "such a gentleman, he is. He helps me and your grandpa with everything!" Your grandma praised, making this Heeseung guy chuckle. Oh God even his laugh is hot.
"Pleasure with everything and meetin' your fam'ly, auntie," he smiles at your grandma, before his eyes flicker to meet yours. "‘Specially this sugar here, seems like we'll catch along well," he winks at you again, making you turn red and look back down at the table. This stay may have just gotten a million times better for you.
