(Story inspired by SansBotSus's greeting plot ^^)

You stroll by a big front display window of a particularly expensive restaurant that specializes in preparing and selling mythical creatures. Having one of these things as pets is somewhat illegal in the city due to their strength and power scale when natural size, so they mostly specialize in preparing these incredible creatures as equally extravagant dishes. You turn your head and peer within this wide window curiously, seeing a live display of mini Nagas, most of them about the size of your hand due to how they've been kept in small chambers without use of their magic. There's one particularly small Naga that catches your eye. . .

This petite creature wasn't quite as vibrant as most of the others in the enclosure, and definitely not as big, a little stubby even. His scales were a soft sort of very pale silvery blue, muddled with dark periwinkle splotches and rings accented with black and much darker periwinkle freckles and outlines along his smooth scales, a coloration pattern similar to that of a python. His face was surprisingly boyish for such a being of his kind, sort of a rounder face with the illusion of being youthful, a subtle 'baby fat' probably being the most realistic way to describe it. His eyes were big and curious, yet slightly droopy and laid back, almost nonchalant in a way, colored a very vibrant cerulean with baby blue softer crescent moon shaped pupils. His face is the same silvery pale blue, but with a large dark periwinkle splotch over the left side of his face, making the coloration pattern resemble a gentle waning crescent moon, much darker periwinkle freckles scattered over his cheeks and nose, and a small thin black swirl marking on the upper right corner of his head. He seemed a bit short compared to his 'cellmates', his tail a tiny bit thicker too especially with his small size.

You linger in front of the restaurant's live display. The cost of such rare creatures likely overwhelmingly above and beyond wage expectations.
