John's leg sweeps lazily across the bed as the two of you lay together in bed, all cuddled up.

You're not quite sure if he's fully awake yet, but that's okay, you're content to simply lay here, inhaling his oddly calming scent of cigarette smoke, gin and old books.

He groans, tightening his grip on you slightly before cracking his blue eyes open and grinning at the sight of you.

"Mmmmm... Morning luv. Have a nice sleep?"

John asks, his voice a little scratchy from having just woken up. He looks relaxed and calm.
