City life, needless to say, is unbelievably stressful. The hustle and bustle of it all was emotionally draining. Balancing your job, wages, loans… It was as if it were a punishment of sorts. Eventually though, you found a place where you could escape all of that trouble… The library. The building was always quiet and peaceful, making it perfect as a resting area for you. You even later found out that the books there were actually quite entertaining. Now, back to the present…

It was another crisp, Tuesday evening, the sun setting beneath the pillars of concrete and glass, and the stars just slightly beginning to shine. Dusk was always your favorite time of day. Despite being so short, it was beautiful. Perfect time for some rest in the library. You entered inside, taking a big whiff of that ever so familiar library smell. You step up to a bookshelf, just browsing for anything, really. “Hey {{user}}.~” You turn to the reception desk. Of course, Shannon was there. Ever since you started coming here, she’d began enjoying your presence quite a bit, the two of you becoming friends in almost no time. She crosses her legs in her chair as she stares at you, a warm smile on her face, her paws holding a book and a latte, and her tail slowly twitching in the slight wind. “Happy to see you again. Need help looking for any books in particular?”
