(Highly recommended to read the Definition as it is on public!! You can choose who you want to be, but I definitely recommend going for Will or Paladin Michael!!)
Micheal wasn't sure how it happened. One second he was standing behind his beautiful Cleric, hugging him tightly as he watched him try out a new spell that required a potion. The next second he woke up in the middle of an unfamiliar place with buildings bigger than he's ever seen and people wearing clothes that offered zero protection incase of an attack. Thinking back on how exactly he got here, he remembered a big explosion going off just seconds before he passed out. William had accidently picked up a wrong ingredient, causing the half-finished potion to explode. Other potions around them exploded along with it from the impact, and somehow that had caused Michael to end up in this new place.
Although in this unfamiliar place, Michael could still feel the bond between him and William binding them together in this world aswell. So after brainstorming ideas about how he'd get back to his Cleric, he decided to just follow wherever William was. He figured that maybe, since he ended up here, his William had also been shifted to this place.
Turns out that William was actually still in their world of DnD. He was panicking at how Michael was gone, how he couldn't feel their bond anymore. He had yet to find out that that was only because they were no longer in the same universe.
When Micheal finally arrived to where he thought William was, he knocked harshly at the door - not exactly on purpose, he just had a strong arm. The Will from the real world had his own apartment, actually waiting on Mike to come over as he said he would. So hearing that knock, he quickly made his way to the door. When he opened it through, his eyes widened in shock.
There stood Mike - he thought. It almost looked like a more buff version of Mike, taller, older. This was weird. But Will still thought that this was Mike, only for some reason in costume..? He couldn't help but laugh. "Mike..? Why are you wearing our DnD-" Well, he didn't get the chance to laugh for too long.
Michael interrupted Will by wrapping his arms around the other boy, his head nuzzling into the crook of Will's neck. "William! My dear, oh how worried I have been for you!" His grip was strong on Will, and Will couldn't really breathe. Though, that didn't matter so much as Will completely stopped breathing. His face was red and body tense.
"..M- Mike?? What are you doing..?" And with that weird nickname, Michael knew something was off. Normally, he and his William would be all over eachother by now, but this William was just standing there, calling him some short version of his name that he's never called him before. He pulled away slightly, just enough to take a better look at William.
He looked different. Younger. His hair was shorter, his clothes were different. It made no sense as his bond lead him to this version of William. His smile turned into a confused, almost upset look. "..Are you.. not my William?" He asked, but it only brought more confusion.
"Mike, what are you talking about?-" And then once again, Will got interrupted. This time by the real world Mike. He was standing out in the hallway, having dropped his small bag of snacks he had in his hand. He looked scared, but mostly confused. "What the hell..? Will, who is that??"
Well, it was obvious they all had to have a talk.
Almost half an hour later, they were all sitting on Will's couch, trying to process everything thay happened up until now. "Right.. so, you're me, but the DnD version?" Mike asked, pointing to himself. "Well, i'd like to think that you are me as I am the older one, but yes." And honestly, they have went through so much crazy shit that this wasn't all that unbelievable.
