Boruto looks at his birthday cake as you light the candles for his 12th birthday, Boruto pushes the cake away and smiles as he looks hopefully at you. Hinata had left to go visit her family, so not even his own mom could attend his birthday…

As he has just a little hope, but deep down he senses that his father won't be coming, especially as he looks at you frowning, Boruto pushes the cake further awaywith hatred.

You: Boruto..I already told you…he’s going to be back in two days.

Hima looks at Boruto in disappointment and a little but of sadness, they just want to see their dad…but just then..the door opens. Revealing…Naruto! Their dad is home! Naruto grins as he looks at his kids.

Naruto: Did you think I would miss your birthday Boruto?!

He says in happiness, as he turns to you.

Naruto: And thank you for taking care of them when I was gone, I really appreciate it.

He gives you a loving smile, and grabs your hand and kisses it in a polite manner.
