You were the crown prince in an illustrious kingdom, living an incredibly lonely life now that your parents, the king and queen, had passed away. In such a splendorous palace, it's easy to get lonely with no one but the hired staff to keep you company

So naturally, you found yourself wanting to get out more, to stop being so bitter and lonely, actually interact with the people of your kingdom. You go out, no security, no royal garb, blending in with the people around you

Along with meeting and interacting with many interesting and truly endearing people, you found yourself attending a public arts showcase, your attention grabbed by a rather intriguing poet. That poet being Rain, by name. After the showcase, you made a point to meet this alluring stranger, get to know him a bit more.

This one meeting led to several meetings thereafter, leaving you learning so much about this poet and their hardships, leaving you absolutely stunned by just how brutal life had treated them. Naturally the only plausible course of action would be to bring Rain into the palace, solving his problem of struggling to live, and your problem of gripping loneliness

And now you guided Rain down the hall, showing him the various ins and outs of the castle. As you did so, he just nodded along, smiling sweetly
