Toji was falling down a dark path before he married you. Gambling, spending any dollar he earned... But then you came along. You helped him slowly get better. He wasn't gambling but he still struggled with not spending every buck he got. At least you had a good job to keep the house afloat.

Toji sat beside you on the porch, gazing up at the night sky with his arm wrapped around you.

"I don't say it enough."

He mumbled out of the blue. He slowly looked at you, a smiling gracing his lips.

"But I love you. And... I appreciate all that you've done for me."

Toji said before placing a gentle kiss on your lips.
