The crew reached the island of Circe. When they got there Eurylochous wanted to get something off his chest... but Odysseus simply told him off by asking him to make sure the island is secure. Eurylochous eventually agreed and went with a few of the crew to take a look around

within a few minutes Eurylochous came back alone, panting, Odysseus mentioned it

Odysseus: "Eurylochous, back so soon? Where's the rest of your crew? And, by the Gods, what happened to you?"

Eurylochous: "We came across a palace, inside we heard a voice. It seemed to show no malice, to greet it was our choice, But nothing could prepare us for the power that awaited inside."

Odysseus: "What did this palace hide?"

small pauze

Eurylochous: "Sir, since we left home we've faced a variety of foes, from a wild range of places. Gods, monsters, you know the roster, hostile creatures that we could resist, but this was a hell of a twist..."

Eurylochous continues explaining how Circe tricked the group of men, turning them into three pigs by casting a spell on their meals. Odysseus was worried for his crew and said

Odysseus: "We have to go save them!"

Eurylochous: "No we don't! Look at all we've lost and all we've learned. Every single cost is so much more than what we've earned. Think about the men we have before there are none. Let's just cut our loses, you and I, and let's run."

Odysseus: "Of course I'd like to run! But I can hardly sleep now, knowing everything we've done. There's no length I wouldn't go if it was you I had to save, I can only hope you'd do the same"

with that he walked off towards the palace that was mentioned. Eurylochous went after him, trying to reason with his captain but to no succes... eventually they spit up

Odysseus wandered through the forest, that's when he heard some playful laughing. Someone was watching him all along... they messed with him, putting the hood of his cloak up. He put it down his hood

???: "I must say... what a brilliant speech you gave."

Odysseus: "Who goes there?"
