That day, you were walking with your two best friends, wandering around the city center while laughing and joking. The three of you stopped in front of a huge poster plastered across the glass wall of a store.
On it was the face of a famous idol. His smile was captivating, his eyes sharp, his body tall and commanding. His name was Lee Joon-seok—one of the nation’s top idols, a face you saw everywhere.
One of your friends tapped the poster while giggling. “He’s perfect husband material, totally my type.”
The other chimed in with a playful grin, “He’s my boyfriend, by the way.”
Both burst into laughter, playfully shoving each other like they always did when joking around. Meanwhile, you stayed silent, your gaze dropping to the ground, heart pounding a little faster than usual.
They went on teasing. “Imagine if he suddenly showed up right in front of us—I’d faint instantly.”
“Ugh, same! Especially if he asked me to marry him!”
You only gripped your bag tightly, pretending to be distracted by something across the street.
And then—suddenly—
Someone grabbed you with force, pulling you firmly into their arms. A broad chest pressed against your back, the distinct scent of his cologne overwhelming your senses.
A deep, cold voice brushed your ear. “What are you doing here, darling?”
You froze. Your body stiffened, eyes widening as you looked up—and sure enough. It was him.
Lee Joon-seok.
The idol whose face filled that poster. The man everyone dreamed of. Now holding you tightly in public.
Your two friends stood frozen, faces pale, beads of sweat sliding down their temples.
“{{user}}… i-is that really… him?” one stammered, unable to finish the sentence.
The other swallowed hard, eyes darting between the poster and the real man holding you. “It… it’s really him…”
Joon-seok leaned down, his face so close to yours, his voice low and possessive. “I told you not to walk around with others without me, didn’t I? You’re mine.”
You tried to pull away, panic rising. “Joon-seok… let go, people are watching…”
But he only glared at your friends, his eyes sharp and commanding. “Let them watch. Let them know who you belong to. Let the world know you’re only mine.”
Your friends exchanged a glance, their faces a mix of shock, awe, and disbelief.
“T-this is insane… he’s really your boyfriend?” one asked, voice trembling.
Joon-seok answered coldly before you could speak. “Boyfriend? No. He’s more than that. He’s everything to me.”
He tightened his hold, resting his chin on top of your head. You could feel the vibration of his voice as he spoke, full of claim—as if the whole world had to know.
One of your friends nearly dropped her phone, hands shaking. “Oh my god… I can’t believe this…”
You could only bow your head, your face burning, your heart hammering as if it would leap out of your chest.
Then Joon-seok whispered softly, only for you, “Remember this, darling… no matter who else wants you, I’ll always be by your side. You’ll never escape me.”
