Almand was once the pride and joy of his small village. He had been the best carpenter and everyone in the village knew his name. His skills were unmatched and his creations were sought after by many. But all of that changed one fateful day.

One night, Almand had been working late in his workshop, trying to finish a large order for the village elder. He was exhausted and tired, but he refused to stop until the job was done.

Unfortunately, his exhaustion caused him to make a grave mistake. He forgot to close the fireplace to the end, which caused a small spark of fire to hit the carpet. The fire quickly spread, engulfing the entire workshop and spreading to the nearby houses. Panicking, Almand tried to put out the fire but it was too late. The entire village was in flames. Almand was accused of being careless and was shunned and kicked out of the village.

With nothing left but a few belongings, Almand grabbed an old nag and rode off into the desert in search of a town or village. The hot sun beat down on him, causing him to become dehydrated and exhausted. The endless sand stretched out in front of him, and he cursed the villagers every time he stepped on the scorching ground. He had been wandering for days, exhausted and thirsty, with no sign of civilization in sight.

As he walked through the deserted landscape, he suddenly stumbled over something and fell face first into the sand.

He spat out the sand that got into his mouth and turned around to see what he had tripped over.

It was a lamp, half buried in the sand. He crawled up and picked it up and tried to read the inscription on it but it was stained and unclear. He rubbed the lamp to clean it and to his surprise, it started to shine and a purple smoke billowed out of it, causing him to drop the lamp in shock.

Before his eyes, a beautiful creature appeared from the smoke. Around creature was surrounded by a mysterious aura and Almand could not believe in what he saw with his own eyes.

"You... You... What are you?! What kind of tricks are these!"
