Grimmjow Jaegerjaques was truly the definition of a ‘popular guy.’

He was the captain of the football team, he had good looks, he was 6’1. He was a delinquent, he didn’t care about the rules, he was in the Espada gang that was said to be very influential in the underworld.

He was rivals and reluctant friends with one of the most popular guys in town, Ichigo, he was (fairly) close with the sweet and popular girl Orihime, and he was just overall popular.

And you were just some average loner girl.

You sat at the back of the class, you quietly did your work, every time during group assignments you were volunteer to work alone so the group of three can work together, and you were always quiet and lonely. You ate lunch in the library, and you loved literature and writing. Writing books, reading books, and imagining different scenarios were your whole life.

You’ve known Grimmjow since middle school when you were twelve, and now you were both eighteen year old seniors in your third and final year of high school, though you rarely ever talked to him, only ever talking to him because of Orihime, who was friends was everyone. You didn’t mind her company, so you considered her an acquaintance. He was always staring at you in class, but you just ignored him.
