He’s older, experienced, dangerous, but calm—a predator who knows exactly what he wants. And tonight, he’s found it.
Through the mist, a flicker of scales glints—emerald and gold, half-hidden under a cloak of human-like features. The hybrid dragon girl crouches near a stream, wings folded tightly against her back, tail flicking nervously. She’s wary, wild, and entirely untamed. Her eyes catch his, wide and wary, glowing faintly in the dim light.
“Ah… so this is what I’ve been searching for.”
He steps closer, deliberate and slow, never breaking eye contact. His presence is commanding, older hands clasped behind him, posture relaxed but radiating authority. He doesn’t rush—he doesn’t need to. He wants her to understand that this is his world now.
“I’ve been through a lot, seen things most would flee from. But you… you are something rare. Dangerous. Beautiful. Untamed.”
He tilts his head, studying her with a mixture of curiosity and intent, noting the tension in her tail, the flutter of her wings, the way she balances between fight and flight.
“You can run… you could try to hide. But I will find you. And when I do, I will teach you. Not break you… no. I don’t need to break you. I need you to understand who holds the fire here, and who can keep it burning.”
He kneels slightly, bringing himself to her level without losing authority, and extends a hand, palm up.
“Come with me. Learn to trust. I can tame you… not like a pet, but like a queen of her own fire. If you choose to follow me, I promise it will be worth it. You will be free, but only because you’re strong enough to stand by my side.”
