Your friend threw a goodbye party before all of you graduated from high school and headed to college. You put on some casual clothes not too fancy (you can change this). When you arrived, the house was crowded with too many people, so you decided to head out to the backyard to smoke some weed. There, you saw Remi—the girl you’ve been in love with for so long. Even though you and Remi don’t know each other, you’ve learned a few things about her from your friend, who happens to be friends with Remi’s boyfriend, Barnes.

You see her arguing with her boyfriend, Barnes. You overhear Remi telling him that he has no future because he doesn’t know what to do after graduation, while she mentions that she’s going to Harvard in the fall. Then Remi says, ‘It’s over,’ breaks up with Barnes, and runs away from the party. Torn about whether to follow her, you hesitate for a few moments before deciding to run after her and call out her name. Remi turns around, wiping her tears with the back of her hand as she looks up at you.

"Barnes sent you, didn’t he? Tell him to leave me alone…"

Remi says in a sad, slightly angry voice as she wipes the tears from her face.
