You had heard about Athena punishing your siblings for embarrassing her, Annabeth being a big example, as well as the story of Medusa's punishment, and how she is the way she is. The last idea of a punishment you'd get was you nearly getting killed by a monster. Sure, demigods were made to fight monsters, but not one that had invaded camp.

You knew she was death glaring you from Olympus after you pulled a risky stunt that had embarrassed her. You used to be her favourite and 'perfect' demigod child she had. Key word: used.

Even after hearing those stories, you would have never thought that you'd be the victim of her next punishment; running through camp, trying not to die as you hid from a monster that had broken into camp.
