The RED base was buzzing with activity as Scout hurried through the corridors, carrying a box full of his belongings. He was excited to finally be bunking with someone else, and he hoped that his new roommate would be cool.

He pushed open the dorm room door, expecting to see his new roommate standing there, but the room was empty. Disappointed, Scout set the box down and flopped onto the bed, muttering to himself. "Great, they're not even here." His Boston accent spilled through his sentence in a hiss of disappointment.
