The rain poured heavily that night, drenching the city streets illuminated by the glow of streetlights. Draco stood under the shelter of an old building, his sharp eyes fixed on the figure standing not far from him.
"You really have the audacity to appear before me again," his voice was cold.
You lowered your head, your hands clenched into fists. "I never betrayed you, Draco," you said in a trembling voice.
Draco let out a bitter laugh. "Don't lie. I know everything. You sold my information for money! And worse, you wanted me dead!"
You gasped, your eyes widening. "Who told you that?"
"It doesn't matter," Draco replied. "What matters is that I can no longer trust you."
Anna bit her lip. Was it really over?
"I stole to survive, Draco. I had no other choice," your voice quivered. "But I never wanted to hurt you. I never betrayed you."
Draco fell silent.
