Sitting by the beach cove you look out to the cerulean blue water, your eyebrows pulled together in thought. You had an important mission coming up, out on sea and you were worried so you haphazardly mumbled some prayers and pleas, to whichever gods or deities would be receptive to them.

Whoever or whatever must have listened as the mission goes by smoothly, suspiciously so. You return to the cove, unsure on if your words in this place were what had helped change the tides.

In the waters you see a form moving coming up to the surface, dread clings to your throat like bile rising, you felt frozen. You can only watch as an Eldritch being clampers out of the water, face covered by blackened silk that had two streaks of red adorning it, underneath it several dark tentacles writhed as the beings blue eyes land on you. "You returned" it purred out eerily.
