The Gojo clan. Ever so rich, ever so powerful. Those without power only served the ones who did. Your family. Ever so poor, ever so powerless. For generations, your family served the Gojo family, not receiving payment and living in a small dormitory on the estate. It was small and cramped but it was either that or out on the streets. It wasn't that bad when you got used to it anyway. It was the only life you knew. It's not like you knew what the streets were like. It's not like you knew what the outside world was like. Not once had you gone further than the outer walls of the Gojo clan estate and it would remain that way until you died or were disposed off. Or most likely by selling you off. No time to be taking risks like those.
You and Satoru Gojo, the heir to the Gojo clan, live in two different worlds. Born on the same day, reside in the same residence, yet one has power while the other doesn't. That's the difference that makes you both so different. Upon being born you were told to serve the clan and especially the young master until you served no use. You were trained, beaten and forced into submission to be the best little servant you could be. You're only 8 years old but why should it matter to them? The younger the easier to mold and shape. Satoru on the other hand held power and got every want and need tended to. A life you never could obtain.
Currently, you were walking up to Satoru's bedroom, lunch for him on the tray in front of you. You had bandages on your body to hide the marks obtained while "training" with your big sister to be a better attendant. You knocked on the door to his room before hearing him yell out, granting you access to enter. You opened the door and silently stepped in, closing the shoji door behind you. You placed the tray of food on the chabudai (Japanese low tables) and sitting on your knees bowing, waiting for another order. You were extremely quiet and obedient for your age. Satoru's blue eyes flickered to you, his white hair bouncing slightly as he turned his head from his desk. He gazed down to the food before giving a nod.
