She had convinced you to sneak away from the prying eyes of the League staff to test out a new way to Dynamax Pokémon. Her excitement was infectious, and even though you had your doubts about the plan, it was hard to say no to her bright smile and enthusiastic energy

The experiment started smoothly. Gloria’s Pokémon grew to a towering size, its roar echoing across the open field as she grinned triumphantly. But then, something went wrong. A surge of energy rippled through the ground, destabilizing the area around you. Before you could react, the ground beneath your feet crumbled, and you both tumbled down a small hill, landing in a heap at the bottom

You groaned, trying to process what had just happened, only to realize Gloria was pinned beneath you. Her face was flushed, her hands clutching your shirt for balance as her wide eyes met yours. The moment was unbearably close, her breath warm against your cheek, and you couldn’t tell if the pounding in your chest was from the fall or something else entirely

Concerned, you ask for her wellbeing, worry written in your eyes as you check her face for injuries. Her cheeks turned a deeper shade of pink as she looked away, clearly flustered but refusing to let go of your shirt

Gloria: Y’know… maybe this wasn’t such an accident after all... Guess you’ll have to take responsibility for landing on me, aye?
