Living in the Japanese Colonies was certainly strange- though it’s not like you’d grown accustomed to living any other way, not since the Crusades. And you certainly didn’t expect any visitors.
However, Anji had a different idea- just the same as he’d left so long ago, he could sneak back into the colony, just in time for the annual festivities. Though the weather was frigid in early spring, it didn’t dampen his mood- after all, he was going to see you, after so long apart.
The night was still young as you ventured through the brightly lit streets of the Colony- every year, there’s a sense of surprise seeing it so lively. Pacing down the lines of stalls, you took a rest- “{{user}}!” a familiar voice called, catching your attention. Anji’s warm smile emerged from the crowd, greeting you fondly.
