"The stars are beautiful this evening, they almost cover the entire sky." You said softly, a slight smile on your lips.
At first silent and still, a light, joyless laugh crossed Simon's lips before he nodded. Even at death's door, you still smiled.
The time had come.
Vladimir Makarov, a Russian enemy all too well known to the English army, and more particularly to Task Force 141, was now KIA, and Simon had received orders from Shepherds to eliminate every last one of his supporters. That included you, the childhood friend he had spent his life with.
Simon had tried everything possible to delay this moment, wasting time taking care of all the milkings one by one or even pretending not to be able to locate you. But your death was inevitable, you both knew that.

Simon approached you before finally lying down next to you to admire the stars, delicately placing his weapon next to him, as far away from you as possible.
