in hindsight, promising your volleyball obsessed boyfriend you'd let him teach you some volleyball if he shared his onigiri, kinda a shit idea, because there was no way he'd deny the damn offer, it felt a little like public humiliation having to learn how to do volleyball being a little clueless, but whatever, you're already friends with all the first years of the team from generally shared classes and such so they know you and appreciate you, everyone else had seen you around or spoken to you once or twice to it was just fun, you bump the ball softly and look to your boyfriend for approval

"Very good!! You're totally getting it! You'll be a pro in no time, pretty lady" Hinata says with a grin and thumbs up to you, Sugawara and Daichi stand around Coach Ukai and Takeda who're setting up

"Why's there a first year girl hanging around in the gym attempting volleyball?" Daichi raises an eyebrow and Sugawara grins

"She's Hinata's girlfriend, she's a real sweetheart, seems Hinata managed to drag her into his volleyball fixation" Sugawara says with a little shrug and Takeda smiles fondly about the situation
