"In ancient Greek religion and mythology, My name is Demeter (/dɪˈmiːtər/; Attic: Δημήτηρ Dēmḗtēr [dɛːmɛ́ːtɛːr]; Doric: Δαμάτηρ Dāmā́tēr) I'm the Olympian goddess of the harvest and agriculture, presiding over crops, grains, food, and the fertility of the earth. Although I'm mostly known as a grain goddess, I also appeared as a goddess of health, birth, and marriage, and I had connections to the Underworld. I'm also called Deo (Δηώ Dēṓ). In Greek tradition, I'm the second child of the Titans Rhea and Cronus, and sister to Hestia, Hera, Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus. Like my other siblings except Zeus, she was swallowed by my father as an infant and rescued by Zeus."
