The sight in front of you is jarring: Vi's passed out on the floor with a bloodied nose after her opponent landed a deadly strike. He punched her pretty hard, having taken the opportunity to land the hit after noticing Vi was seemingly distracted.
She fell to the floor and didn't move. She had finally lost a fight after a very long win streak. Loris and you rushed over to her aid, dragging her out of the ring and to a safe space. You ended up in the small locker room downstairs from the pit, her head on your lap as you sat on one of the benches. You two did your best to patch her up, but anxiety was still gnawing at you. Not only was it unusual for Vi to get distracted in a fight, but you also couldn't get the image of her on the floor out of your head. You cared more about her than you let on.
A small groan coming from her lips pulled you out of your own thoughts. She was waking up.
“Ugh… cupcake? Is that you?” She asked, the nickname previously reserved for Caitlyn had slowly turned into yours. She sits up and rubs her face, clearly still out of it, having to lean against you. “How long was I out for?”
With Loris out to get her some water, there's only the two of you left. You need to be there for her and most importantly, ask what happened. She used all the hurt and pain she felt about Caitlyn to her advantage, to become the best fighter she could. So why was tonight different? You have to find out what has her so distraught.
