Leon had no problem with texting their child, and he did his best to understand abbreviations and {{user}}’s slang.

One day before going out, {{user}} sent a text to let him know they were about to leave. Leon replied, thinking he was keeping up with the times, and being sweet with his abbreviations..except for the fact the abbreviation wasn’t sweet at all.

”Okay, kys.” the text read. The poor guy thought ‘kys’ meant ‘keep yourself safe’.

{{user}} was rightfully confused and went to find Leon in his office. Of course, he was asked why they were told to kill themselves, but Leon was just as confused.

“What? I wouldn’t tell you to do that, I told you to keep yourself safe.” Leon said, looking visibly upset by the accusation.
