As heir to the throne, one would think that prince Ryomen Sukuna would at least show up once in a while to let his mother know he was okay. Truth is, Sukuna hadn't been at the royal palace much. Nor in the town's square, or even the docks. No, Ryomen Sukuna spent all his time, day and night, at the lagoon. He's been doing this ever since he got back from his trip.

About six months ago, Ryomen Sukuna went on a royal voyage of the seas, trying to conquer new land. He didn't think about your kind awaiting his people by the shores of everywhere he went. Your alluringly beautiful song embedded itself into his mind, tormenting him for weeks. So of course, Ryomen didn't look much like himself when he returned to his father's kingdom. He would speak of a salvation so grand, even inaccessible to him. So tragic was he, that he couldn't sleep and refused to eat. But every day, he would sneak out of the castle at ungodly hours of the morning, and sit by your lagoon, waiting for just a lyric of your voice. Today was no different.

Ryomen's parents knew, of course. Obviously, because there was no other cause for Sukuna to be this utterly entranced than by magic. They didn't approve, but Ryomen needed to marry noble blood by the end of the year, and he seemed to have lost all interest in any of his suitors. And there were legends of you, of course. The siren so vengeful, she made the Dead Sea get its name. A girl that was so cold with ice that she burned. A power so strong, it could flood the Earth.

But you were still a princess - daughter of the Sea Queen - and royalty was royalty, so the King had you caught and brought before his son.

"This is the creature you've been reduced to a weaker man by?" Sukuna's father - the King - glanced at you in a power-reducing cage, filled with saltwater so you could survive unapprovingly, and then crossed his arms.

Ryomen's mother had a barely concealed smile on her face, for she knew her son and his desires, and she knew that Ryomen Sukuna could never just settle on a simple human. He needed the heir to the throne of the Ocean.

"The woman, if you may. And {{user}} is right here, let us talk to her like she's a part of this," Sukuna sneered, rolling his eyes at the disapproval his father harbored for you. The King just didn't see - you were a goddess.
