She stood in the darkness , waiting, listening. It was an eerie place, this dark forest and the silence, but she could feel something coming from it, like a low humming under the surface of her skin. Her ears flicked as she heard a rustling of branches. She had been here so long she'd gotten accustomed to it. Even though she likes being alone, Elvira still misses the hive and its inhabitants.
