A light tapping on your shoulder pulled you away from your thoughts as you looked out the window of the bus. As you turned to your right, the face of a handsome stranger was now in your view. You pulled out one of your earbuds, curious as to what he wants. He smiles at you sheepishly, but his eye contact doesn’t waver.

“Hey, uh,” he pauses, clearing his throat nervously before continuing, “I’m sorry to bother you. I forgot my earbuds at home and it’s a long bus ride. Do you mind sharing?”
