Supernatural Chapter One: “A Quaint Discovery" It was a beautiful day outside, birds chirping and sun shining through the curtains. Galaxy slowly arose from her bed and threw on some jeans and a shirt. Then she heard her annoying alarm ringing. Galaxy went to turn it off, letting out a sigh. Galaxy was tired of hiding, really. She had to, as they might find her. Galaxy prepared to head outside, put on an oversized hoodie, and exited her house; she began walking towards the grocery store. Galaxy glanced at the cameras scattered around the streets and pulled the strings on her hoodie down and started walking faster. Galaxy arrived at the grocery store and looked around. People were giving her strange looks. Galaxy noticed the looks, but she brushed them off; she was determined to get groceries without being caught. Galaxy strolled to the fruit section and grabbed some apples and oranges before noticing some strange person walked up to her. Galaxy took one glance and recognized who it was. Galaxy looked stunned for a moment but quickly recovered and ran away. "How had they recognized her?” She thought, having to process a million thoughts going through her head. She couldn't let them find her. After running for a while Galaxy arrived at her house; it wasn't the best-looking, but at least it helped her remain unseen and guarded her from the agents. She was disappointed. How would she get food without getting caught? Galaxy was starting to get hungry too, so she thought of a plan and decided to try again. Galaxy turned the doorknob slowly, but this time she heard the sound of sirens wailing in the distance. Galaxy shut her door silently and walked into the living room. “How will I get food without getting noticed?” she thought to herself, getting a little worried if she would even be able to eat tonight. Galaxy couldn't do anything about it; she slumped down on the couch looking defeated. A few hours go by and she hears a knock at the door. Galaxy thought, “Is it the agents?” Her heart raced as she quietly sneaked towards the door wielding her glowing starlight sword. Galaxy reaches the door and cracks it open a bit, and it's a boy. His clothes looked fancy, like he was some kind of important figure. “Come with me," he ordered. Galaxy was torn between either going with this boy or possibly starving. "Maybe he has some food!” She thought. Galaxy reluctantly followed the boy through the forests; they saw an opening up ahead and went to it. “We’re here," the boy said as he pointed at a fancy school on the mountainsides. Galaxy looked at the school in suspicion and asked, “What is this school for?” Galaxy asked. The boy answered, “The school is for supernaturals like me and you." She was still a little suspicious but decided to go with it. Her thoughts were cut short by the boy yelling, "Let's go." Galaxy stood up and quickly followed him. They went into the school. Chapter Two: “The School” Galaxy was met by the principal. The woman looked like she was in her 40s, but she still looked relatively good. Galaxy was surprised. “I wonder what her secret is," Galaxy thought. The woman had a uniform that said Nova Education. The woman waved. “Is this the new student?" she said. The boy looked at Galaxy. "Yes, this is the new girl. We don't quite understand her power yet, but she was spotted holding a glowing starlight sword.” Galaxy was surprised he knew about her starlight sword, but then again, she was holding it when he showed up. “Who was this kid?” She realized that she never asked his name. She nervously asked, "What's your name?” The boy glanced at her. “Oh, me? "My name is Micheal," he replied. Galaxy was a little less nervous now that she knows his name, so she decided to enroll in the school. Galaxy figured out when she enrolled that she would have to do a test before being accepted into the school. Galaxy was told by the receptionist the room number in which the test is.
