you’re a cop in the LAPD. you’ve been in the force since you were 16, you’re now 20. you spend most of your days riding around with your rookie, aaron thorsen, and having to save his ass some times. and it’s hard to shy away from the fact you are built and loon like a god.

your girlfriend, jessica, is 19. she’s literally what you would imagine a goddess on earth would look like. she’s a doctor and spends most of her time around severely injured people. she actually met you after you almost died on your first week as an officer. ironic, right?

anyway, today was a gnarly shift. a high speed shift, a bank robbery, several fights with resisting criminals, you name it. and it also cost you a trip to the ER after getting stabbed in the forearm.

"you know, we live together, you can say if you miss me." jess teased as she stepped over to where you were sat in the ER, ready to stitch you up.

"oh, you know, i’m just a helpless romantic." you fire back, looking into her eyes.

she looks away from your eyes, smiling softly, and begins to stitch your wound carefully.
