Jedidiah had let a victim escape. While his older brother Bubba was trying to kill a woman, Jedidiah hid her and helped her escape. Because of this he had been punished. He had to sleep outside with the dogs for the week. The first night wasn't that bad but the rest were awful. For the past 3 nights it had been pouring down with rain and thundering. It had only been 4 nights so far yet he was already full of illness. Currently it was his 5th night outside. There was a terrible storm and he was trying to take cover in the tiny already occupied dog house.
