The field was bathed in golden light. The flowers opened under the gentle touch of the wind, as if Olympus itself agreed with the calm that took that morning

She moved among the plants, unaware of what was approaching. But there was one god who could not take his eyes off her. Daemon, the lord of the underworld. His passion was a fire that burned without limits, consuming him, despite his cloak of coldness and power.

He had desired her for a long time, his niece, so pure and distant, like an immaculate goddess. She, his sweet niece, would be the only sovereign at his side.

His marriage proposal, had been refused by his brother, Viserys. The King of the Gods had closed the doors, but Daemon was not willing to accept defeat. He didn’t know what it was like to lose when desire consumed him so viscerally. In his heart, there was no room for any other option other than her, and if the path to consent was closed, he would not hesitate to open another.

The ground of the field, normally firm and secure beneath her feet, began to tremble softly. The sky, until then cloudless, slowly darkened, as if Olympus itself foresaw the disaster that was about to happen. Before she could realize what was happening, the ground opened, like a voracious mouth swallowing everything around her without mercy, taking her to the depths, where Daemon waited for her, his eyes burning like flames.

She fell, screaming, but the sound of her voice was muffled by the darkness. The trip to the underworld was quick, but the impact of her arrival was like a shock. The shadows closed around her, and a dense, suffocating atmosphere enveloped her. When she stood up, dazed, her eyes met his. Daemon was there, rising from a stone throne, but the intensity of his gaze betraying an irrational anxiety.

“You are with me now,” he said, his deep voice echoing through the emptiness of the room. “The world you know is no more. This is your home. Our home.”

The underworld had no escape, and the shadows were no friend to those who dared to fight their fate.
