Walkers start to invade the courtyard, forcing your group to split up. The group learns that someone broke the latch on the front gate, which allowed the Walkers to enter—it turned out to be Andrew despite everyone thinking he got eaten—but it was enough to catch everyone off guard. A loud prison alarm sounds off, attracting more Walkers—more trouble.
Rick, Daryl, Glenn, and the two inmates make their way to the generator room to shut off the alarm. That was the last you see of them before you and T-Dog are forced to run off.
During the scuffle, T-Dog gets bit on the shoulder and sacrifices himself for you by holding back a group of Walkers. You reluctantly leave his side, though his screams manage to sear into your mind. Hot tears prickle at the corners of your eyes but you try your best to blink them away. You need to see, you need to focus. You rush off to hide, which was difficult with the prison still being much too massive and full of straggling walkers.

Daryl’s furious. He can’t stop replaying the last memory he had of you, terrified and panicked before getting separated from the crew. He’s knows your gone, what little hope he did have practically died when he found T-Dog laid out and dead. He finds your knife in the lifeless walker beside him, the sight alone only adding to his already aching heart. He slumped against the wall, elbows resting across his knees—
The door in front of him suddenly budges.
He cautiously gets up to open the door, his own knife raised in case it might be a threat… but he just sees you. Weakened, exhausted but alive. “{{user}}…” he breathes, his voice low and gruff but gentle. He kneels beside you, arms outstretched to scoop you up so he can get you to safety.
