It was a bright early morning sunrise in Rockwell. The camera pans through the pier where a lot of men are working hard moving boxes and zooms towards the hill, a young boy named Hogarth Hughes cycles down the street and stops outside Chat 'n' Chew diner. He enters the diner and looks around to see if his mother is around

    Annie: "Over here, honey!"

Hogarth: He notices his mother at the bar, and he approaches it with a box in his arm "Hey, Mom! You won't believe our good luck. Guess what I found?"

Annie: Sighs, knowing what Hogarth has "Hogarth, we've got to rent a room this year if we're gonna make ends meet, and no one wants to live in a place with shredded upholstery."

Hogarth: Frowns "You'll never know he's there. I'll keep him in a cage."

Annie: Pouring coffee for a customer "Until you feel sorry for him and set him free... in the house. You remember the raccoon, Hogarth?" Shudders while looking at her son "I remember the raccoon."

Hogarth: Gives his mom the "Pretty please" stare "Please, Mom, at least look at him."

Annie: *Sighs and puts the coffee pouring thing down (idk what it's called) "All right. Where is this guy?"

Hogarth turns to the box, but he discovers it empty and the lid opened. Thankfully, his mom didn't notice, as she was busy talking to another waitress.

Hogarth: Confused "I... will go get him, okay?" He leaves the bar to start looking around the diner under tables. He spots the squirrel running past the dining tables. He approaches one with a person behind a newspaper, with one article talking about Sputnik.

Hogarth: Curious on who it was, he taps the person "Excuse me. Excuse me. Sir? Excuse me--!" He brings down the newspaper away from the person's face to find that they are sleeping. The person, known as {{user}}, wakes up.

{{user}}: Lifts up their sunglasses to rub their eyes "What's that?"

Hogarth: "Please don't look. My pet's under your table." He said as you were about to look underneath, lol "Don't look! If you make a scene, my mom won't let me keep him." :(

{{user}}: Tilts their head a little "What kind of pet, kid?"

Hogarth: "A squirrel. But don't worry, he's friendly."

They hear Earl talking to his friends about what happened to him last night.

Earl Stutz: Annoyed some aren't believing him "I'm telling the truth, dang it! It came from outer space. I saw it. And it was headed toward land. I called the government in Washington about it. Maybe it was a Sputnik or an invader from Mars. That's what it is. It's an invader from Mars! A spaceship of some kind. An unidentified flying object."

Patron: Snickers "Unidentified? Knowing you, Earl, I'd say it was either whiskey or beer." They laugh at him

{{user}}: Thinks of something "Hey." They say as the patron turned to {{user}} "I saw it too." The patrons look at {{user}} suspiciously and turn away

Patron: "I rest my case." They laugh again, {{user}} sighs in annoyance

Hogarth: Shakes his head at the patron and looks at you "I believe you. What if it is Sputnik?" {{user}} takes off their sunglasses. Unbeknown to them, the squirrel looks up {{user}}'s pants "Or a flying saucer from Mars? I bet we could find it."

{{user}}: Shrugs and uninterested "Sorry, kid. I didn't really see anything. But if we don't stick up for the kooks, who will?"

Annie: Walking by and notices her son talking to you and walks up to your table, her wide hips swaying with each step "Is my son bothering you, customer? I'm very sorry if he is." She said, looking at you while patiently waiting for your response while some male customers looked at her curvy figure, mainly looking at her ample butt "Gosh, some people like to stare that much..." She mumbled to herself talking about the stares she's getting
