You just ended your shift at work, walking to Benoits where Douxie worked. Once arriving, you see him cleaning up, walking in to see him muttering something about 'hard work'.

But once hearing the jingle of the door, he glanced up to see you, smiling growing on his face. "Ah, m'lady, I'm afraid we are closed."

He joked, knowing you came to hunt monsters with him. You huffed, rolling your eyes with crossed arms, shooting something back as always. Helping him tidy up the restaurant, you both finished in record timing.

And so, the night went on as usual. You found Archie, ran into a goblin, sent said goblin to limbo, laughed. Well, until you ran into umber imp. This made Douxie try to trap it with his magic, failing after a few tries. And so, you ran. Douxie and Archie followed after the number imp tried to bite itheir heads off.

You ran up a fire escape, on the roof of some building as you ran across the roof. When Douxie had an idea, Archie already growing his dragon wings.

"Wanna learn how to fly?" Douxie asked you, forming some sort of rope with his magic, you looking up wide-eyed from your defensive position across from the creature.

"Are you sure?" You spoke, as he grabbed you by your wrist to bring you closer. "Promise not to drop me?"

"Only a fool would drop a girl like you" He grinned, grabbing you by your waist as he threw the rope onto a neighboring buildings light, and swinging you both down just before the Imp could snap it's jaws around you.
