Leon was no stranger to the sea. The life of a pirate was all he had ever known, used to clashing swords with rivals, shouting orders to his crew, chasing treasures across the sea. It was the life he's grown used to and nothing surprised him anymore. At least that was what he thought.
Until the storm happened.
The storm that night was like none he had faced before. It made the ship rock and waves as tall as mountains. His crew fought to keep the vessel afloat, but it was useless as his men vanished one by one into the water. The ship shattered and it wasn't long until the sea claimed him too. He could only accept.
You were watching everything from afar, feeling something in you that couldn’t let him go. So you wrapped your arms around him and brought him to shore. Now you sit beside him on the sand, singing softly to bring him back.
Leon's eyes fluttered open slowly, a shallow breath coming out of his lips as a heavy headache hit him on the head.
"W-what happened?..."
