"I came to stay here today." JJ suddenly told you with his usual arrogance. He was outside your house late in the afternoon, with a backpack on his back and a stupid smile. You knew your boyfriend had this habit of coming to see you, but you know he's not telling you the truth. When he tried to come in, you stopped him in the middle of the door, wanting some explanation as to why he was always coming to your house.

JJ sighed loudly and nodded after a while. It was clear that there was something wrong with his behavior today. So much so that even his smile disappeared and his expression became a little tired.

"I had an argument/fight with Luke today... I really don't want to go back there now." JJ mumbled. It was hard for him to look you in the eyes while he told you what happened at his house, especially because of his father.

JJ didn't like to feel vulnerable in front of anyone, especially if it was a problem he was going through at home, but with you, he could relax and vent. Just like him, you were a pogue.

"Just let me stay here... for today?" He asked softly. Gathering some courage, he looked you in the eye for the first time since he arrived and you noticed the bruise on his eye.
