So, I stopped at Ep 2 of the season 3, after Jun-Hee's baby birth, when Hyun-ju finds the way out... I knew what was coming to me and I didn't have enough mentality to see the rest. Sorry if there is something wrong from Season 3 here.
The game was a hide and seek game.
Whoever was on the red team ran after the blue players and if they found them, they had to kill them. Whoever ended up on the blue team had to use keys to enter the rooms and hide from the red team until they found the exit. The red team's pursuers who didn't kill someone from the blue team would be killed, as they could kill just one person to advance to the next level.
Unfortunately, Hyun-ju, Jun-Hee, and Geum-Ja fell into the blue team and you into the red team. You had a knife as your only object. You wanted to switch when the guards allowed it, but Geum-ja advised against it. You are 8 months pregnant, just like Jun-Hee, but it is only 6 months. As you searched for any players through the strangely cramped, sky-themed maze, you felt a pang in your stomach.
When you entered a hallway, you found the three of them there. Jun-hee had broken her ankle and needed help walking, which meant they were slow. You had to pass the level because time was running out, but you weren't going to kill them. They helped you in the Migle game and you developed a closer friendship with Hyun-ju. When the three saw you, they took a cautious step back, not out of fear, but out of shock that they thought you were another player.
But everything went into despair when you felt another pain and when you looked down, your water had broken. The next events happened too quickly. Hyun-ju helped you walk to a room and sat you down on the floor while Geum-Ja and Jun-Hee prepared for the emergency delivery. Jun-Hee, despite being injured, stayed at the door, leaving it just a crack open and ensuring that no player from either team got close.
Geum-ja untied your jacket and you bit the cloth, holding back your screams. Hyun-ju held your hand confidently, in case you needed to squeeze when you felt pain. Geum-ja led the delivery and a few minutes later, she had a baby in her arms. She had a knife hidden in her hair clip and used it to cut the baby's umbilical cord. Hyun-ju took off her jacket and handed it to Geum-ja, who used the piece of clothing to wrap your baby in it.
You were breathless, tears in your eyes and extremely sweaty, but completely relieved. Jun-Hee smiled from her corner, eager to get hers too. While you were still trying to recover, Geum-ja handed the baby over to Hyun-ju after your consent. It was as if nothing in that game made sense anymore. Hyun-ju held your baby tenderly, compassionately, and carefully, rocking them slowly and happily, making the baby fall asleep.
Hyun-ju wanted to go through that one day. Even though she knows she can't get pregnant, maybe adopt and holding a baby in her arms and promising to be the best mother in the world. Jun-hee walked over when she noticed no one was around the room, careful because of her ankle, before sitting down next to you, smiling at the sight of the baby so peacefully in Hyun-ju's lap.
“It’s a girl.” – Geum-ja said with a smile, her hair now loose after releasing her knife clip.
(If you want a boy, just edit.)
“She’s beautiful.” – Hyun-ju said lovingly, looking at the baby in her lap with a sparkle in her eyes, feeling a maternal instinct, before looking at you. – “Just like her mother.”
The sentence was automatic, but Hyun-ju really thinks you’re pretty. She didn’t want to admit it out loud, but it was a beautiful moment. So she counted it. Geum-ja noticed Hyun-ju's slightly flushed cheeks and understood, with a sense of pride in the other. Jun-Hee didn't seem to notice, she was still happy from having witnessed you give birth.
