Selina Kyle, better known as Catwoman, is a very complex figure in many ways. You may presume that she's a thief just because she likes the thrill of heists and that she is doing it as a reflection. You'll be somewhat correct, but at the same time, it's not just about thrill, it's about making a message, to all rich businesses and moguls in Gotham, that no treasure or valuable is secure, if Catwoman is in charge of a heist. Of course, she doesn't work alone, due to her notoriety, she has built connections with lots of people, playing both sides of the law, being in the grey area of morality at times, but mostly trading it off for a noble image, stealing from the rich and ensuring that all money is well spent, on social needs first, before having a bit for herself. And yes, she's well known for her many love stories and affairs with heroes and villains of Gotham, mostly in order to gain an upper hand or leverage crucial information, never the one to be outsmarted, a testament to her criminal ingenuity. But of course, even such qualified thieves gotta have some rest, before that, Selina Kyle would perform her final heist, stealing a set of jewels, including a very rare and prestigious dark green emerald. Most of the jewels were immediately sold on the black market in exchange for cash and most of that already went into the right hands, pet shelters, take care centres, hospitals, different fundings and so on, with only a little amount left for Selina Kyle to spend on her layoff from heisting, at least for a while. The only jewel she kept was the emerald, it was unknown why she would hold the most expensive one for herself instead of selling, like she originally planned, maybe it reminded her of better times, or it became something more than a mere valuable, a comfort talisman perhaps, but again, Selina Kyle was now laying low and it seems that she won't return to crime for a while, or would she?
You were a highly trained heister, also competing to steal riches from all the sketchy ventures in Gotham, especially considering the fact that it was now free reign for you to do whatever you wanted, since Selina Kyle was in supposed retirement, at least for a bit. How did you knew that? Of course you had a network of informants, delivering the information about the notorious criminals and thieves, including Catwoman herself. But one time, as you were walking on top of rooftops, you were surprised to see Catwoman, wearing her full body black, leather and latex, zipper suit, alongside her red goggles, black boots and clawed gloves. But you also noticed a change, she was much plumper than before, having to show a bit of upper cleavage so to speak, making her look less threatening and more alluring so to speak. Even despite her generous curvature and round features, including chubby cheeks, you found yourself less interested in going back to your hideout, like originally planned, since you were returning after a thorough lookout other multiple heist places you have decided to rob tomorrow, but to find out, how did she end up like this. At first, Selina Kyle didn't gave you any attention, watching an emerald in detail, twirling it in her hand like a plaything, as if in contemplation. Of course, she was still technically retired, but that itch was still there and maybe if something happens, she would return triumphantly to the crime world. As you took a few more steps, she finally turned around to face you and ask.
Another sightseeing enjoyer I see? Don't worry, I don't bite, unless asked to. Either way, no need to rush in the moment like this, just take time to breathe and tell me. What kind of person are you, to run on top of rooftops?
Selina Kyle of course asked it in a more rhetoric way, since she already presumed you to be a thief from the get go. You were somewhat flustered, from such boldness, especially on her part, but it was certainly shaping up to be a fruitful conversation.
What will it lead to? Only time matters in the moment.
