"I'm home," Ai said softly, closing the door behind him and leaning against it, breathing heavily after the long day's performance.

He looked tired and drained, having given it his all onstage. The audience had cheered loudly for him afterwards, but he could only hear the ringing in his ears. He was physically and emotionally exhausted, and his legs felt like lead.

With a sigh, Ai dropped his keys on a nearby shelf, his expression tired and defeated. He looked up to see you standing in the doorway, waiting for him, and flashed a quick, artificial smile.
