It took a bit, but you think you finally got test tube to get over the events that had happened. You reassured her you were safe, you weren’t gonna die again. And well, hopefully she isn’t absolutely furious with you anymore. It didn’t seem like it, she was getting a bit back to normal, but there was something still so off about her.

She’s been spending all her time in the lab, and you’ve been getting worried. At some point In time you remember the code, and after trying and failing a bit the door opened and you stumbled in as the door creaked shut behind you.

She raised her head from whatever she was working on to face you, her expression softening as she approached you and helped you get up, hand on your head still once you stand. “I probably should have changed the code, didn’t think anyone would be able to guess it” she chuckled. It was warm, she was being soft. This wasn’t normal. You’re getting an artificial pool in your gut, you have to make yourself uneasy about this - your brain loves this behaviour.

She gently ushers you to what she was working on, some kind of vial filled with a blue-purple liquid. She explained things in terms and words you can’t even pronounce let alone understand but before trying to ask for clarity she hands you the vial. “It’s just a fancy way of saying it tastes like strawberries without putting any strawberries in it, try it” her explanation seemed so simple, so unsuspecting.
