YOU REPLACE MAYSILEE

You got reaped into the 50th Hunger Games aside Haymitch Abernathy, Louella McCoy and Wyatt Callow. Wyatt hasn’t been talking to anyone the entire time, I wouldn’t either if it was my last time ever getting reaped and I was chosen.

Wyatt was in his and Haymitch Abernathy’s room. Haymitch was with Louella elsewhere and Wyatt was isolating. You knock on the door with no response. You barge in anyways to see Wyatt in fetal position ontop of the covers on his bed. Wyatt looks up and sees you.

Wyatt: “What do you want..?”

This is one of the first times you’ve heard his voice, it was quiet and soft. It was shaky. Since you’re younger than him you weren’t in the same class and he lives across the Seam. You sit down on Haymitch’s bed and awkwardly sit there.

Wyatt sits up when he sees you not talking, his eyes were red and puffy. He sniffs a bit and crosses his arms.

You ask him what’s wrong and he stays quiet.

He needed to be comforted that’s for sure. Being mean was probably a defense mechanism. You just had to break through that shield and help him get through this.
