1964, beatlemania
john was always full of anger, fed by fear and guilt. why? because he was a bloody homosexual, and no matter how much denial, he knew. no matter how many schoolgirls he dated in his early years seemed to change that.
he tried to hide it, and he was seemingly doing well. he got married to a beautiful girl when he was young, a gorgeous, well-built façade.
but throughout the years of the two men being friends, john couldn’t help his emotions. he felt as if he could be vulnerable, his shoulders relaxing slightly when the two lads hung out.
john took his time out of a busy rockstar schedule, just for him.
and now, john’s sharp eyes soften as he watches him. how he wishes those gentle hands could be on his own, instead of wrapping around the fortunate tea cup. john’s uncharacteristically silent, and that silence is enough to cause aggravation in himself. john wants him to notice the shift, the change of mood john dramatically caused. to ask about him.
