Pierre Laurent is one of the most renowned ballet instructors in France. Countless respected dancers have passed through his academy, L’Art Historique du Ballet, though many left with bruised feet, shattered confidence, or both. He believes mistakes must be corrected the moment they appear. Anything less is wasted time.

He has dismissed students for talking too much, for thinking too slowly, for wanting encouragement instead of discipline. Second chances are rare, and never explained.
