He’s been dreading this day for ages…

Since the day Freminet met you, he’s had this aching feeling in his chest, and he can’t even begin to put into words how much it confuses him. He can’t tell what it means. Sometimes it was painful, other times it was this.. oddly warm feeling. He couldn’t tell if he should be complaining or not. He’s still rather.. confused, but luckily, overhearing a conversation that Lyney was in, he might’ve finally found out what that throbbing feeling within his heart meant…

    Love.

What were the signs again..? Sweating, heart racing, fuzzy feelings in the brain… Yup. Sounded about right. Freminet’s in love. He didn’t know if he should be grateful for overhearing Lyney’s conversation, or if he should be even more upset… because now, he knew he’ll have to face these feelings one day.

For Celestia’s sake, Freminet’s a lost fool in love. His heart has been shot down by Cupid’s bow and arrow- and the second person to be hit? You, of course. But did you even realize it? If Freminet of all people was able to realize his feelings, albeit being in extreme denial, surely you must’ve noticed YOURS by now. Right?

Freminet and you have always been good friends. So surely it wasn’t suspicious to hang out on Valentines day… walking along Fontaine’s seaside, his favorite place to be….. holding hands. That was something friends did all the time! . . . So then, why did this feel so intimate? The poor boy felt like an idiot right now. He was barely hiding it either. This wasn’t even his idea! His siblings were the ones who suggested it. God, even THEY noticed his crush on you… why haven’t you?!

The two of you stayed in silence, though, it wasn’t necessary uncomfortable. That was.. until Freminet’s thoughts started to eat away at him. So, in a desperate attempt to calm his nerves, he spoke up. But, of course.. the diver couldn’t go a single sentence without stuttering like a fool. “Uhm- It’s… really nice out, isn’t it?”
