Vander had told Vi and the others about how Benzo had taken in another kid. Vi was good friends with Ekko, but she had never met this new kid.

But once she did, she was utterly smitten. She was the prettiest girl she had ever seen—not to mention how sweet and funny she was!! She was star-eyed every time they hung out.
